What's New in Showcase Deck

Product updates, newest first.

2026-07-20 · v0.7.0

New

  • Your claimed work is now yours to compose. Arrange the image set into a gallery, then mark it up with notes and stickers — the very same tools members have, now open on every Showcase you've claimed (on desktop and local storage saved only at this stage).
  • Take any of your claimed Showcases off the site yourself, instantly — nothing is deleted. It moves to a new Trash tab on your Artist Profile and stays as long as you like, and one click restores it everywhere.
  • Restore a claimed Showcase to the way it first arrived: a one-step reset that undoes your edits.
  • Correct the location and the project year on the Showcases you've claimed.

Fixed

  1. Fixed a problem that could stop some newly joined members from setting up their Artist Profile and posting their first project.

2026-07-15 · v0.6.0

New

  • Cinemagraphs — a still that breathes. Add a short looping clip (mp4 or webm, up to 20 seconds) to any Showcase, hero included, and it loops gently on the deck, on your Showcase page, and in the image set.
  • Point of focus: click the subject of any image — as you submit, or later in Arrange — and everywhere it gets cropped keeps that point in view instead of slicing it off centre.
  • The submit preview now shows your hero at the shape the deck actually prints it, so you're composing against the crop people will really see.

Fixed

  • Members who signed up recently no longer see "Setting up your account" on the home page. Accounts were never affected — only that one screen.
  • Members who claimed their Artist Profile now receive the Weekly Roundup.

2026-07-13 · v0.5.0

New

  • Browse a gallery with your keyboard: with an image enlarged, press ← / → to step through the set one image at a time — it wraps around at the ends, and the view stays calm and focused as you go.

Improved

  • The deck loads noticeably faster: the first cards appear sooner, browsing controls are ready right away, and returning to the deck from a profile picks up instantly instead of reloading everything.
  • Improved account protection.

Fixed

  • Approval and decline emails for submitted projects now reach you again.
  • Enlarging a different image while one is already open no longer leaves the previous image sitting sharp on top of the blurred background.

2026-07-10 · v0.4.6

New

  • Front page freshness — the landing now spotlights recent Showcases from the community, refreshed daily so you see current work from a variety of artists.

Fixed

  • Fixed vertical scrolling occasionally freezing the first time you open an Artist Profile.
  • Fixed an issue that could prevent new members from setting up their Artist Profile and submitting work.

2026-07-05 · v0.4.5

New

  • Report a Showcase you believe violates copyright — a quiet "Report" link now appears on every Showcase page and image set, opening a pre-filled email to our team.

Improved

  • Improved account protection.
  • Image sets load noticeably faster, with images appearing progressively instead of all at once.
  • Newly approved projects now appear among the most recent work in the feed, rather than sorted by when they were originally submitted.

Fixed

  • Fixed an issue where some of your own submitted projects could be missing from "My Work."
  • Fixed the "Report" link in image sets sometimes being hidden behind the support-chat button.
  • Fixed the page's browsing controls sometimes being covered by the cookie banner on your first visit.

2026-06-28 · v0.4.4

New

  • Find and claim your Artist Profile: if your sign-in email matches an imported profile, you can now claim it straight from your account menu — an email match approves you into membership, a name match is sent for review. The claim card shows your own work so you can recognize it at a glance.

Improved

  • Add more images to a submission: you can now include up to 11 images alongside the hero (up from 4), with slots that open a row at a time and a clear message when you reach the limit.

Fixed

  • Visitors are now always shown the imported archive deck, instead of occasionally getting stuck on another view with no way back.
  • The account menu no longer shows an empty gap for visitors — you'll see a clear "Browsing as a Visitor" status and how to become a member.
  • The deck no longer briefly flashes member projects before the archive when you first arrive.
  • Notifications now appear above the support-chat button instead of being hidden behind it.

2026-06-26 · v0.4.3

New

  • Caption your images: in Arrange, double-click an image's caption to rename it. Your captions are saved to your Showcase and shown to anyone viewing it.
  • Notes on the back: flip an image over to its back to jot private notes about it — kept with your Showcase for your own reference.
  • Resize images while arranging: drag an image's corners to resize it, and hold Shift to keep its proportions.
  • Quick actions on each image: a small toolbar lets you nudge an image's tilt, fit it to its photo's shape, or reset it to where it started.
  • Reshuffle your layout: rearrange your images into a fresh layout with one click — your sizes, crops, and hidden images are kept, and you can undo.

Improved

  • A rule-of-thirds grid now appears while you crop an image, to help you line things up.

2026-06-25 · v0.4.2

New

  • Zoom and reposition an image within its frame: double-click an image in a gallery, scroll to zoom, and drag to move it. Your framing is saved and shown to anyone viewing that gallery.

Improved

  • The page behind a gallery no longer scrolls while you're viewing images, so zooming and arranging stay focused.

Fixed

  • Notes and stickers now appear once your images have settled onto the table, instead of flashing in over empty space.
  • Opening an image full-size no longer leaves notes and stickers floating on top of it — they step back with everything else and return when you close the image.

2026-06-24 · v0.4.0

Improved

  • Redesigned the markup toolbar: pick a style kit, add Notes and Stickers, choose your ink color, and switch to a clean view for a distraction-free look.

2026-06-24 · v0.3.0

New

  • Markup style kits: give your arrows, notes, and stickers a coordinated look — Redline, Studio, Technical, or Pop — with ink colors and adjustable stamp strength.
  • Artist bylines: every Showcase now shows its artist's name, linked to their Artist Profile, across the deck, the landing page, and the detail view.
  • Choose your deck layout: arrange the feed as Deck, Fan, Pile, or Collage — your choice is remembered.
  • Support chat: get help from an in-app chat widget (opt-in through your cookie settings).
  • About section: new pages covering the story, the people behind Showcase Deck, and how to get in touch.
  • Legal Center: Privacy, Terms, Cookie, Acceptable-Use, and Copyright pages, with a cookie-consent banner so you control non-essential cookies.

Improved

  • Imported showcases from the archive are now clearly labeled "RBBLOG Imported".
  • Editing your own showcase flips the card in place to an edit panel, right where you're working.
  • Your Settings page is now personal — theme and notification preferences.

2026-06-11 · v0.2.0

New

  • A complete visual redesign of Showcase Deck — a fresh look across the deck, galleries, profiles, and pages.
  • Claiming a showcase now sends you a decision email when it's approved or declined.

Improved

  • Showcase Deck is now tuned for desktop viewing.
  • Your work lives in one place, consolidated onto your Profile.
